The Beginning, John 1:1-5
6th Mar 2019
1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. 3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day. (Genesis 1:1-5)
Genesis to Revelation are Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. In the beginning God created the powerful Word 'Be'. Out of the darkness God called Light, and time began. In the blackness of space a blue ball of Life started spinning around a radiant Sun. Near enough to be illuminated and nourished, not too far away that it might grow cold and perish. Dancing in endless cycles of being and presence, glowing with green and blue essence. Off on a journey in time, shining with light from on high, giving impossible Life to beings like you and I. Beginning and ending in God, we orbit around our Creator, giving thanks for the time we are given to wonder and worship and Love. In Genesis we had our beginning and in Christ we have found our Way to the Truth and Life. In Revelation we see the completion of the mystical plan of God. I AM is present and future, everywhere, always, unending; the Light of Life that God gave us will never be quenched. For God is with us always, and loving us from the beginning he loves us to the end of the age.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (John 1:1-5)
